What is WebMasters? Webmasters is where students whom have an interest in web design and development can meet to learn more about the process of maintaining a website that is accessed by hundreds of parents, students, and staff each day. By joining, students will be able to learn about how The View, Mountain View’s website, works behind the scenes by diving into the source code. By jumping into the source code students will be able to apply their knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP (knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP is not required to join). Also by joining WebMasters, students will be contributing to their community by getting the latest news from the source and then publishing it for parents and students to see.

What does WebMasters do? At WebMasters we keep the Mountain View Website up to date by using the newest technology available to keep things running smoothly and to meet today’s web standards. Also, WebMasters keep parents and students informed by publishing the latest news about what is happening at Mountain View. Additionally, WebMasters builds relations with Mountain View’s wonderful staff and clubs to make sure we have the latest information.

When does WebMasters meet? WebMasters meets Tuesdays after school from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. You can also check under meetings to see when WebMasters are meeting.

How do You join WebMasters? You can join WebMasters by attending one of the first two meetings of each semester.
