For over three years, MVHS has been recognized as one of the top 10 high schools in the nation for implementing school-wide positive behavior interventions and support (PBIS).
A team from MVHS participated in a national think-tank seminar in Chicago in June 2009, to showcase our PBIS work and help write a chapter in a book on PBIS at the high school level.
A team of MVHS staff and parents meet every month to collaborate and constantly “plan, do , check and adjust” our behavior interventions and supports on a school-wide basis.
