MVHS Welcomed Milton Creagh for Second Year
Bigg Milton Creagh, is one of the top speakers in the nation.  Through a five-year contract with the Elks organization, he was back in Northern Colorado.  Because Mr. Creagh is so in demand nationally, he usually only visits any one place once every 10 years.  We were lucky enough to have him visit our school twice in less than one year.  Thus, some MVHS family members remembered Bigg Milt's visit last year at MVHS.  All 9th and 10 graders this year found his September 22, 2009, message positive and inspirational.  The Thompson School District and MVHS would like to formally thank the Elks Organization, and Sharon Welch for bringing Mr. Creagh to Northern Colorado. Elks members are tireless supporters of our students, and this assembly would not be possible without their deep caring about young people.

-Fire Lane and Mountain Lion Circle in Front of MVHS—Safety First
The fire lane along the east side of the school and the circle in front of the school continue to create frustration for local emergency personnel and for Thompson School District bus drivers. The circle in front of the school is a 24-hour per day handicapped zone only for bus usage and emergency access to the front of the building. Please do not drop off students or pick them up in the front circle at any time as buses use it at all hours. Please have a family discussion about other areas on campus to pick up your student, including all the wide-open spaces in the east parking lot by the district soccer stadium.
